Amy has always loved science fiction—books, movies, shows, and games. She was born in San Diego, California, and moved with her family to Vancouver, Washington, at the age of seven. After devouring some of the classics like Dune and Ender's Game in her tween years, she began writing science fiction and fantasy short stories.

In the ensuing years, Amy attended the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics, where she continued to study creative writing, visual art and played viola in the school orchestra. During this time, she began the very early sketches of what would eventually evolve into the Cadicle series.

Amy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Portland State University, and also pursued minors in Professional Writing and Business Administration. After graduating, she moved to Portland, Oregon, and began working in business development for an energy efficiency consulting firm. Over the next several years, she primarily wrote proposals to prospective utility clients and managed the proposal development process. She then transitioned from energy efficiency into the architectural, engineering and planning industry. However, she eventually succumbed to the writing bug.

Now a full-time author, Amy currently lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband. When she's not writing, she enjoys travel, wine tasting, binge-watching TV series, and playing epic strategy board games.

VOLUME 6: PATH OF JUSTICE
ABOUT THE BOOK
Tararia's future is in peril...
In the years since the Bakzen war, Wil and Saera have raised a family on Earth outside the purview of the High Dynasties and Priesthood. Except, it's almost time for their teenage twins, Raena and Jason, to begin telekinesis training and they have no idea such abilities even exist. With the Bakzen threat eliminated, Wil hopes the TSS can offer them training without the need to commit to a lifetime of military service. Just as the twins come to understand the life on Tararia that was kept from them as children, the family discovers that there's always another layer of secrets guiding their lives.
Path of Justice is the sixth installment in the Cadicle series. This novel lays the foundation for the plan to finally bring down the Priesthood.
PLOT SYNOPSIS - Path of Justice (Cadicle Vol. 6)
Three years after the war, the TSS is demilitarizing. Wil and Saera decide to have twins—a boy, Jason, and girl, Raena—and raise them on Earth away from Taran politics.
Then, at the age of sixteen, the twins' abilities suddenly emerge and Wil tells them about the Taran civilization and their birthright. They're brought to TSS Headquarters, and the Aesir immediately come to test them. Wil is able to convince the Aesir to wait five years for a formal test, since they might not survive if they attempt it without training.
Wil, Saera, Cris, Kate, and the twins go to Tararia. While at the Sietinen estate, Raena happens to bump into a servant named Ryan and they have an instant connection. Wil investigates the servant and discovers he's Banks' son—and also, improbably, an heir to Dainetris. Restoring the Dainetris Dynasty will provide a seventh vote among the High Dynasties, which would enable an overthrow of the Priesthood. They meet with Ryan's birth mother and learn that the Priesthood took Ryan away from her when he was young and placed him in the Sietinen Dynasty's care as a Ward. Wil invites Ryan to come train with the TSS, and he accepts.
The next night, Wil senses an intruder in the Sietinen estate. While he's investigating with Cris, Raena and Ryan are captured by the Priesthood. They're taken to a lab in the Priesthood's island, where they learn that the Priesthood has continued their genetic experimentations and the High Priests are clones. Dozens of telekinetically gifted women have been captured over the years to serve as surrogates. The Priesthood has been in search of the perfect vessel to allow them to ascend, and a child between Raena and Ryan would bring them one step closer.
Raena is able to tap into her abilities and break them out from the Priesthood's lab—but are unable to free any other captives—just as Wil is arriving with a rescue party. They return to Headquarters with a new understanding of the magnitude of the situation. Raena and Ryan know they'll need to be together, and want to be, but after everything that's happened, they take the relationship slowly.
Cris' parents realize that a new era is about to dawn and hand over control of the Sietinen Dynasty to Cris. Wil steps up as TSS High Commander.
